A Higher Standard

I have always thought that everyone holds Notre Dame to a higher standard. The world requires more of us than it requires of normal men. Good is not good enough, and we should settle for nothing less than the best.

At times, the pressure is probably more than we can handle, but our direction in life is determined in large part by our goals. Failing to choose bold goals is like setting a goal to fail. Choose a bold goal and it will be your guiding light in the worst of storms. Ultimately, you must all answer to yourself and to each other. Choose wisely your goals wisely, and hold them close to you.

No More Jammers

I am thinking about requiring Navy Blue swim suits during practice next year.

The best practice suit available is Speedo's Nylon Training suit. They are loose fitting, inexpensive, and they last forever. Buy yourself a nice Navy Blue training suit.

Swimmer of the Meet Honors

Every meet we award a few "Swimmer of the Meet" trophies. In our case, the trophies are a bottle full of pool water from the meet.

Swimmer of the meet honors went to Danny S., Frank G., and Richie H.

Congratulations to Richie!! Qualifying for the State Swim Meet in the 100 yard Breaststroke and setting a school record in 1:03.76 Posted by Hello
