Our Clever Saying

Each year we think hard about a good theme for the season or a saying which will inspire us to new heights. This year, we chose something much simpler. In the words of the immortal Dan Lontai, "Get to wall!"

There is a little more to the story.

What I worry about?

I spoke with the Journal Star tonight, and I told them, "there is one team in this area that keeps me up at night worrying about how we will do compared to them-- It's our girls' team."

This is what it is all about. The TEAM!

Yes it is sweet.

As Shawn posted earlier, Congratulations to the 200 free relay of Jordan Ambrose, Kelsie Ludolph, Katie Childs, and Brooke Baldi. They have achieved one of the greatest achievements in the history of PND Swimming & Diving history. Automatic All-American time standards are super fast. Congrats to the same relay for making the All-American Consideration time standard in the 400 free relay and to Brooke Baldi for making a consideration cut in the 50 free. 6 new school records, undefeated dual meet season, conference champions, and Top 16 in 4 of 5 events swum at state. What a terrific season! Thank you girls for the opportunity to work with you and get to know you. It really was a wonderful experience this year.

All-American - How sweet it is!

Congratulations to the PND girls swim team. This is a few firsts for PND. This is the first relay squad to place at the state swim meet. This is also the first swimmers to achieve an automatic All-American time.

Some Sectional Hype

PND has been getting some great coverage in the Peoria Journal Star.

Here we go

This is our shot! We need as many people as possible there on Saturday to cheer on our Peoria Notre Dame Girls Swimming and Diving team to state. It is also a chance to watch one last time (other than state, but not everyone gets to go to that) the final swims of our seniors. It truly has been my privelege to coach these girls and I hope they do well in their future endeavors. Brooke, Kristin, Erin, and Jamie will always be a wonderful part of the program and they will be missed. Good Luck ladies and let's get ready for state!

A big Weekend

It is no secret that Sectionals is a big meet. As the saying goes, "it's do or die." I can't wait to see what these girls make happen. Two sectional titles and two conference titles--what will happen next.

The action starts at 9am on Saturday at Normal West with diving and swimming starts at 1pm.
