The girls team always seems to have great artwork. I was in the pool today and I noticed this hanging on the bulletin board. I couldn't resist the urge to snap a picture with my camera phone.

Thank goodness the season is finally here. I have been waiting for this since last season's state meet. The girls have been looking great. I am looking forward to this week. Make sure everyone shows up to watch the Pekin dual meet. The girls have a 23 dual meet streak on the line. We need as many people to show up and cheer as possible! I look forward to seeing you there. Go Irish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A new Season on the Horizon

Monday marked the beginning of the PND Girls season. Derek dropped by my desk at work early in the day. He was clearly nervous with anticipation. I could tell that he was excited about the great things that will happen over the course of the next 14 weeks.

I dropped by practice later that day to witness the first day excitement. I can tell you that the coaches are excited, the girls are excited, and great things are on the way.
