Here is the lineup for the Dunlap dual meet - 4:30pm at Dunlap high school.

Midwest Invite Results

Here are the results from Richwoods' Midwest Invite. I did notice that there are a few errors in the results. For example, Ian Pierz went 2:04.06 in the 200 free and it shows him as a 2:19, so there might be a few more errors.

12/24 Practice Cancelled

Practice on 12/24 is canceled - River City will be closed. Our next practice will be 12/26 from 6-8am at River City.

Dunlap Dual Meet Reschedule

At the beginning of the season, I stressed that we would have to be flexible this year as we figured out the new schedule. On that note, we have another change. The Dunlap dual meet will be at Dunlap High School on Tuesday, December 30 at 4:30pm. Please note that will practice at River City from 7-8am that morning.

Tuesday Morning (Dec. 23) Practice Change

Practice on Tuesday morning, December 23 will be from 7-8am at the Clubs of River City.

Swimmer of the Meet - Macomb Invite

Congratulations to Colin Seidel and Mark Streid for earning swimmer of the meet honors.

Colin and Mark went 2-4 in the 100 Breaststroke to make that one of our highest scoring events in the meet. Look out for our breaststrokers this season.

Swimmer of the Meet - Pekin Dual

Congratulations to Ian Pierz and Mike Unruh for earning swimmer of the meet honors.

Ian Pierz set personal records in the 200IM and the 100 Butterfly.

Mike Unruh contributed to a PND 1-2-3 sweep of the 100 Backstroke in his first ever dual meet.

Jon and Jake nominated for Athlete of the Week

Don't vote for Jake and Jon Querciagrossa for Athlete of the Week. Even though they won their events handily and helped PND to a Macomb Invitational title, they feel like they don't deserve it. Maybe they're just humble.

Whatever you do, don't vote for them.

Meet Schedule & Details for Pekin Dual and Macomb Invite

For Pekin, the boys will be excused from school tomorrow at 2:20pm, and we will depart by bus to Pekin at 2:30pm. Warmups begin at 3pm and the competition starts at 4pm. The meet should conclude around 5:30pm. There will not be bus back to PND since we will be meeting for pizza in Pekin. You will need to provide transportation for your son after the meet.

For Macomb, we will depart from PND at 7am. Our warmup session is from 9:15-10am. I am hoping we can do the second warmup too and get a workout in before the meet. The meet begins at 11am. The boys who are swimming will need to bring some snacks to this meet. The meet should conclude between 1 and 1:30pm. We will stop to eat at McDonalds after the meet, so your swimmer should bring some money. We should be back at PND by 5pm. Only those boys swimming will go to Macomb. Everyone else will have the day off. Take a look at the Macomb lineup to see if your son is swimming in the meet.
