Freshmen Invite Results

Congratulations to Chris Neaveill, Ryan Carballido, and Nick Lambrecht for swimmer of the meet honors.

I should give special mention that Chris set a meet record tonight. He bettered Jeff Hall's 150 Freestyle record of 1:20.56 with a 1:19.70. Jeff finished 2nd place in the 200 freestyle at the State swim meet in his Sr. Year (my first year as a coach).

PND now owns the meet record in the 200 medley relay, 150 freestyle, 50 fly, 400 freestyle, and the 200 freestyle relay.

Conference Swim Meet - Honoring David Myers

We will be honoring David Myers at the Conference Swim Meet on February 6, 2010. As one component of this, we will be wearing black Speedo endurance suits with a memorial patch for David. I have already collected everyone’s sizes and we will be placing a team order so that we can receive the suits in time for the Conference Swim meet.

The cost of the suit will be $25. We will be collecting money at Saturday’s swim meet.

In the past, we have worn the high performance suits at the Conference swim meet. I am asking everyone to forgo the high performance suits this year so that we can honor David.

I am personally asking each member of the team to assist me in honoring a former team member and his family.

Practice Cancelled (Jan. 20)

I never do this, but today I feel compelled due to the slick roads. We are cancelling practice for today, Wednesday, January 20th.

Boys - You need to use this as a rest day. I know that many of you are feeling physically tired and emotionally drained. Try to recharge your battery tonight, and we will hit it hard tomorrow.
