Sectional Schedule

Diving warmups begin at 7:30am. Diving competition begins at 9am.

Swimming warmups begin at 11:30am. Swimming competition begins at 1pm.

We will be departing from PND at 10:15-10:20am, so the boys should be there before then. We are scheduled for the first warmup session, which begins at 11:30am, so the boys need to be prepared to swim very shortly after we arrive.

From there, our plan is simple. Have fun & swim fast.

The meet is at Normal Community West HS. The easiest way to get there is to take the Mitsubishi Motorway exit. Take a right turn onto Mitsubishi Motorway. Take a left at Yuton / Raab Rd. Then you will take a right onto Parkside Road. The pool is at the far end of the school.

Sectional Team Dinner and Shave-Down Update!

I understand that there may be some confusion about the post for the Sectional dinner and Shave-down at the Querciagrossa’s on February 19. To clarify… this event is for the Sectional Team and Alternates and the Coaches. I sincerely apologize if the information was confusing. If you have any questions please call Kristen at 370-1060. Take I-74 West through Peoria to I-474/Route 6 North. Exit at War Memorial Drive. Turn right at the stoplight and move to the Left-hand lane. Continue past The Shoppes at Grand Prairie and Bosch/Nelson Sprinkler. Turn Left onto Koerner Road. Turn left on the first street (Polo Place) into Chadwick Place subdivision. Turn Left again onto Vauxhall. Follow Vauxhall as it turns to the Right. Turn Right onto the first street which is Wescott. Our home is at The end of the cul-de-sac.

Swim Team Mass Sunday, February 15th @ 7:30 PM

PND Swim Team Families,

Our Swim Team Mass is an annual tradition at Peoria Notre Dame. With our season coming to an end and Sectionals fast approaching, our mass has been scheduled.

We we celebrate mass this Sunday, February 15th @ 7:30 PM. An evening service is being held at St. Phil's. We will serve punch and cookies immediately following in the school cafeteria. All team members and their families are invited.

Swim Team Dinner: Friday 13th (6:00 PM)

Hi there!

While watching the Richwoods Swim Meet on Tuesday; a few "overachieving" parents decided to plan another swim team dinner!! I hope all members of the team can attend.

For our young men still training for Sectionals; this dinner should hit the spot. For our sports fans; the date and time allows everyone the opportunity to dine together and then enjoy the Peoria Notre Dame - Richwoods Basketball rematch being held at PND @ 7:30 !!!

Richwoods Make-up Meet Lineup

Just as a reminder....The Richwoods make-up meet is tomorrow at 4pm at Richwoods. It is actually a quadrangular that will involve Peoria Christian and Manual also. The scoring will be championship scoring 16-13-12-11-10-9-7-5-4-3-2-1 with roughly two heats of every event by seed times.

Conference Schedule

Tonight, Friday, Diving Preliminaries begin at 5pm at Woodruff. The divers should be ready to begin warmups at 3:30pm. The swimmers should arrive at 4:45pm to watch the divers. We will have practice after diving is over which I expect to be around 5:45pm. The JV conference swimmers should be done around 6:30-6:45pm. The varsity crew will have a full 2 hour practice. They should be done around 7:45-8pm.

Saturday - All swimmers and divers should meet at PND at 10:15am. The bus will leave for Woodruff at 10:30am. Competition begins at 1pm. They will need food, snacks, and gatorade. Make sure that they have enough to get them through the day.

Our Conference Meet is Saturday, February 7th. The boys have worked so very hard this season. Late night practices and the ever popular (eye opening) morning practices are coming to an end. As usual, that could only mean one thing.....Team Dinner !!! :>)

After Saturday's Conference Meet we are having a Team Gathering at Gorman's in Campus Town. The back room has been reserved for our dining pleasure!

After Conference, the boys will focus their energy on competing in Sectionals.
