Video Archive - Brooke Baldi Signs Letter of Intent

I happened across this video last week and I thought that it would be appropriate to share for two reasons. First, Brooke just made an appearance at the NCAA championships while swimming for Alabama. Second, Brian Tillis is preparing to sign his national letter of intent to attend Truman State next week.

School Record Challenge

Since Blogger added the video functionality, I got the great idea that we should immortalize all school records on our blog. It seems especially timely since Becky Stoughton just broke 2 records last week. To get us started, I posted the school record for the boys 100 Freestyle. Peter Myers swam a 48.08 at Sectionals in 2004.

If anyone has video of Becky's swims last week, drop me a line and I will post them.

A Teaser Video Clip

Each year, I create a compilation of video clips as a wrap-up to our season. I just finished this year's installment, and I thought that I would offer a little teaser to get everyone excited about the premerie on Sunday. Click on the photo of Luke to see the Teaser Clip.

WHOI news coverage

Check out the WHOI news coverage. Watch the video.

Our practice of awarding pool water for swimmer of the meet got a little attention. We won the Jim Dandy award. I didn't quite get all of that footage on tape. I thought that the story was over, so let me know if you taped it.

John Cealey earns the WMBD Extra Effort Award

Congratulations to John Cealey for earning the Extra Effort award from WMBD.

Since John is in Washington D.C. this weekend to see his brother graduate from an intern program, I couldn't resist the urge to add the video to the web just in case he checked the blog.

Feel free to watch the video. You will need a broadband connection to watch it.
